ROAD TRIP

Low Country Treasure Hunters of the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia, and the Florida Coastline joined together over 36 years ago, founding the Group LMS Metal Detecting. We are located in Murrells Inlet, SC, and travel all over the eastern U.S. All of our members share a high standard of ethics to save and preserve the history that was lost, hidden, or just left behind. Our reputation with private land owners, commercial properties, big game hunting clubs, historical societies, and preservation organizations speaks volumes of our dedication to the path of success by working together and recovering what was once lost, or even thought to have happened in a certain location.

OBX 2025 HUNT

The September 2025 OBX Hunt has been scheduled and is now closed. All notifications have been sent out. Cancellations can be issued through July 31, 2025. Please check your email for detailed information regarding Zone 4. You will need a 4x4, and we recommend that you air down. If you are unsure, please do not attempt this area and stay in Zone 3 or ride with someone who has more experience.

ZONE A, B, and now C will all be open! While Zone B was hot last year, we are looking forward to seeing what relics will turn up this year!

2026 ANNOUNCEMENT
It's now official, 07/10/2025. This will be our last year on site S14. The contract will not be renewed due to the loss of our good friend Paul. We all miss him greatly!
Negotiations are currently underway at a NEW nearby location.
