I’m finally back to the finer things in life... deep woods hunt down in Charleston today and had a blast. Best find of the day was this 11 ¼” trigger guard from a Brown Bess! Some research shows that the 1730 Long Land Pattern guns still retained that early Dutch influence with lobed finials at each end. I searched the whole area for any more parts and found nothing, but I’m still very happy with just the trigger guard.
